Welcome to the page where Ferris Tremain likes to hang out. Jamie Tremain is happy to share blog space with their writing partner (Gloria Ferris) as they combine their efforts to write under the name of Ferris Tremain.

What began as a writing exercise during COVID lockdown, morphed into a full-length novel - Worlds May Change. It's a caper style crime mystery, home to quirky characters and morally ambiguous outcomes. And the theme became the standard for subsequent books. 

Set in the fictional northern Ontario town of Mechanic Falls, there's something for everyone in this series. Each book centres around a main protagonist - Tori Marsh.

Tori Marsh fled to Mechanic Falls when she stole gems belonging to criminals. It was only meant to be a temporary hideout - until it was safe to move on.

But she stayed, and has become bart of Willoughby and Amberly Thwackbottom's lives. Identical twin morticians who kept Tori safe, and who are now her family.

When criminal elements are blended with quirky, but loveable characters, it leads to caper-style, action-packed story. Especially when all the players have a Robin Hood sense of justice.

Currently, the series has 2 full length novels, and one seasonal novella. The three writers are putting finishing touches on a second novella, also seasonal, Tequila Harp (for St. Patrick's Day).

The full length novels (Worlds May Change, and Where We Stand) are best read in order, but the novellas work well as stand-alones.
